In the early 1960’s, Pedro Izquierdo, better known as Pello El Afrokan, created a new rhythm which he called Mozambique.
Although the rhythm shares many characteristics with Sub-Saharan African music traditions, it does not have anything to do with music from the African nation of Mozambique.
To make the independence smoother, I removed a high bell strike on the beat of the second quarter of the second bar;)
