So for The Batman 2 dream trailer 2 I wanted to bring that same vibe in the film by avoiding making it too over the top instead grounded to reality. Likewise the trailer begins showing the flood in the city, aftermath of the ending of the film. I even showed some flashback from the first film to bring that idea. To add some fresh flood scenes I used clips from The 5th Wave. Fortunately Batman has the most fan film available so it was easy to find fresh clips for him. Similarly with the first trailer I avoided showing clips that’s different to Robert Pattinson’s Batman suit. I only show clips of Batman from behind most of the time. I found a news about The Batman day, which works well with the concept by bringing in the idea of Batman becoming popular now. For the villain I made it Joker once again and this time made his appearance even more suspense since I can’t find a clip of Joker that looks as good as the one from The Batman deleted scene. I wanted to make a scene of Batman beating up bad guys but first I thought we need to see them do bad things first. I found a clip from WINDOWS the was perfect to show a robbery scene then Batman comes and saves the day. For the music I used the one from NOPE for the beginning to make it fresh then ended with the Batman trailer music. Overall was happy with the final result. I think it captured the essence of what made The Batman great which is the suspense vibe and without being cheesy.
