German Raw Color Footage from the Eastern Front in Ukraine- June to September 1942

This video is a collection of raw, unedited footage taken by German Propaganda cameraman Hans Bastanier with an Arriflex color camera from June to September 1942. He acompanied the 6th Army trough its advance in Eastern Ukraine and Southern Russia in Summer and Autumn 1942, when the Army would advance towards Stalingrad. This is a collection of his footage. Since the camera had no microphone, there is no sound. I also did no editing at all. I understand that not everyone has the time to watch all of this, so I have added some timestamps, so you can only watch the parts that are interesting to you: 00:00 Intro 00:15 Footage from German-occupied Kharkiv in northeast Ukraine 05:36 Trucks moving forward 06:34 Luftwaffe planes 06:48 Soviet prisoners 07:23 River crossing 08:19 German signal troops 08:52 Footage from Soviet villages/rural life 15:44 Advance of German tanks and mechanized infantry 17:04 German tank officers during a briefing 27:13 Soviet prisoners and killed soldiers 29:10 Guns, tanks and other destroyed Soviet war material 34:10 Advancing German infantry 36:40 Destroyed Soviet columns 37:58 River crossing with boats 39:02 Aerial bombing of Soviet columns 39:54 German motorized units advancing 42:29 German artillery guns firing 43:04 Motorcycle units advancing 47:10 German Tank Destroyers on the move. 47:52 Destroyed KV-1 and T-34 tanks 50:16 German infantrymen 52:33 German field hospital Please also see the remarks in the comments and feel free to ask if you’re interested about a particular scene.
