I had just finished “The Great Diamond Hoax“, the autobiography of Asbury Harpending, and I showed up to practice with a few pages of lyrics. If there was a cool music category called “Indie Rock/Book Review“, this song would fit right in. Pat wrote the music and we started improvising melodies using lyrics from my notebook.
