Making a 1910s corset cover | Historical underwear

In this video I will be making a corset cover. Now this particular one might be edwardian but it could be victorian if you want hahah This is a part of my 1910s sewing project that I have been dragging out since last September, but thankfully the next layer of the edwardian undergarments is done! With this 1910s corset cover I challenged myself to keep more attention to the details and try out more lace insertion. I think this corset cover turned out great. It has this delicate yet detailed feel to it, but the main thing that I am proud of is the progress between this corset cover and the combinations. ♠TIMESTAMPS♠ 0:00 Intro 0:32 The pattern 1:08 Marking & cutting 2:34 Lace incertion 5:38 Finishing the raw edges 7:28 Back pannel 8:58 Joining the pieces 10:44 Neckline lace 12:21 Peplum 13:52 Armholes 14:57 Bottom edge 15:43 Clousure 16:33 Buttons 18:29 Waistband lace 19:37 Finishing & joining the ruffle 21:40
