Cemetery Trip (US) — Demo — 2021 demo

The debut of this solo act from the US. For the first half of the demo features a slightly lofi blackened punk As for the fourth track is a slower blackened doom one as the following track with some doom incursions. It ends back again back in step one, even though the tracks’ start could be an intro for some post punk whatnot mix. Even if highly varied, it lacks some inner structure to take the listener from A to B, but regardless there are many spurs of enlightenment along the demo. The guitar mainly on the slower, doomy tracks become really nice as they become the prime carriers of the melody. Also, the tasty bass lines are a plus for such sections. The vocals are top-notch, displaying a constant fierceness through the whole record, as are the drums, which are always ready to do a lot of damage. Quite good, especially in the start.
