Alex’s Lemonade Stand was started by Alexandra Scott, a cancer patient, in 2000 when she was four years old. She wanted to help other childhood cancer patients like herself by selling lemonade to raise money for cancer research. In 2004, when Alex unfortunately passed away at the age of eight, she had raised over $1 Million. Alex’s parents have continued to run the organization after Alex’s passing and have to date risen over $45 Million to support cance
