Muay Boran Basics: Solo Forms

Martial Dances or Forms represent a sophisticated system of traditional pre-arranged shadow boxing. Muay Boran Forms are series of offensive (Mai Rook) and defensive (Mai Rab) maneuvers logically connected. They are meant to record the lessons learned from real fighting and pass this knowledge to future generations of martial artists. Each Form focuses on specific combat strategies and fighting skills.
