California Dreamin’ but you’re an NCR 1st Recon Trooper and Shady Sands just got nuked

You’re an NCR 1st Recon Trooper on your way home to Shady Sands to visit your family while on military leave. You obseve a large nuclear explosion coming from the direction of Shady Sands. After stopping, you and your fellow NCR Troopers you are with hear a radio transmission to head towards Vault City. Still in shock from the loss of your family and home, you march north to Vault City until you are ambushed by Brotherhood of Steel forces that caught wind of Shady Sands’ fall. The Brotherhood of Steel decided to change the tide of the long ongoing NCR-BOS war.
