Elmadjian Choreographer: Sarkis Paskalian With Jeannette Kouyoumdjian and Ara Guiragossian, singers The Libano-Armenian Folk Dance Ensemble is an amateur company of over 125 young performers - singers, dancers and instrumentalists - formed by the amalgamation of two groups representing the Armenian community in Lebanon, under the presidency of Mme. Nina Didedjian. The company had the honor of opening the 9th Gulbenkian Festival in Portugal, during May 1965, and it was with a performace by the company that the Baalbeck Festival of 1965 ended.
