The Institute for Research and Development “VLATACOM“ is known for the construction of domestic bombs based on NATO bombs MK-82 and BLU-109. Also, since recently at the “VLATACOM“ institute, gravity bombs of the MK family have been converted into guided bombs by adding a guidance system called Wing Assisted Guidance Kit or “vWAGK“ for short, and this is how a guided aerial bomb is obtained. The “vILA“ family of cruise missiles are sophisticated missiles that represent complex ground-to-ground or air-to-ground combat systems that are launched from combat aircraft in the case of “vILA 2“ missiles or from land-based launchers in the case of “vILA 1“ missiles. These missiles represent a modular system of unmanned aircraft in the form of a cruise missile intended to destroy the enemy’s tubes at medium and long ranges that are defended by multi-layer air defense. Na štandu ovog instituta na sajmu naoružanja i vojne opreme “Partner 2023” u Beogradu prikazane su dve varijante nove domaće krstareće rakete pod nazivom “vILA 1” i “vILA 2” što je skraćenica od “Vlatacom Integrated Loitering Ammunition” ili ti na srpskom jeziku “Vlatakom integrisana planirajuća municija”. Institut za istraživanje i razvoj “VLATACOM” je poznat po konstrukciji domaćih bombi na bazi NATO bombi MK-82 i BLU-109 . Takođe od skoro u institutu “VLATACOM” gravitacione bombe familije MK pretvaraju u vođene bombe dodavanjem sistema navođenja pod nazivom Wing Assisted Guidance Kit ili skraćeno “vWAGK” i tako se dobija vođena avio bomba. Familija krstarećih raketa “vILA” su sofisticirane rakete koje predstavljaju složene borbene sisteme tipa zemlja-zemlja ili vazduh-zemlja koje se lansiraju sa borbenih vazduhoplova u slučaju raketa “vILA 2” ili sa kopnenih lansera u slučaju raketa “vILA 1”. Ove rakete predstavljaju modularni system bespilotne letelice u formi krstareće rakete namenjene uništavanju protivničkih cijeva na srednjim i velikim dometima koji su branjeni višeslojnom PVO.
