Starving Russian soldier surrenders to Ukraine’s Slavic Brigade after brutal battle near Kupyansk

A starving Russian soldier surrendered to Ukrainian national guard near Kupyansk. Astonished troops from the 18th Slavic Brigade were guarding their trench when the Russian soldier came wandering over, saying he was looking for some bread. The Ukrainians promised to feed him provided he surrendered, and the man happily threw up his arms and offered to give himself up. It comes after the 18th Brigade inflicted heavy losses on Russian soldiers trying to break through Ukrainian lines in the area, in an attempt to reach the city of Lyman. Footage shows the 18th demolishing a Russian armoured attack using FPV drones destroying at least four vehicles and blowing up a Russian dugout. Putin’s men tried to hit back, lofting rounds from a grenade launcher at the Ukrainians as a stand-in for artillery rounds, and trying to shoot down one of their drones using shotguns that are more typically found on clay pigeon shooting ranges. Their efforts proved fruitless however, as more drone footage from the 18th Brigade showed yet another Russian armoured attack left in ruins, with half a dozen smouldering vehicles left dotted around the apocalyptic-looking battlefield. #Starving #russia #ukraine Daily Mail Homepage: Daily Mail Facebook: Daily Mail IG: Daily Mail Snap: Daily Mail Twitter: Daily Mail Pinterest: Get the free Daily Mail mobile app:
