Now, the IOC only wants to monetize on these clips. Katarina Witt of the German Democratic Republic placed 2nd in the portion of the competition. With her 3rd place finish in Compulsory Figures, she would be in 2nd Place going into the Long Program. And what’s an Olympic figure skating competition without controversy? The controversy here was how short and skimpy the “skirt“ part of Katarina’s outfit was, especially in the front.
