🇲🇽 DURANGO, MEXICO - Welcome back to Mexico everyone! We’re back in Mexico once again (for the 7th time!) and this time it’s time to come out of our comfort zone by heading to the northern states of Durango, Sinaloa, Chihuahua, Sonora and Baja California! Foreigner moves to Durango, Mexico? That’s right! In this, my first video from Durango (I’ll be here for around 2 months, until mid-June) I talk through some first impressions, visit the spacious Plaza de Armas/Zona Centro, head up in the Teleferico (yes!) and devour some local food at a restaurant which was recommended to me. The other point on my mind is around asking the questions, “When will we stop asking, “Is Mexico Safe?“. Can we ever NORMALISE NOT IMMEDIATELY ASSOCIATING Mexico with danger, safety and cartels?
