How to paint a Pomegranate with oil paint

In this video I am taking you step-by-step through my process in creating an oil painting of a vibrantly coloured Pomegranate. The reference picture was made by myself for the weekly hosted #foodpaintchallenge and you can find it on my Instagram page. If you enjoy painting and would like to paint a pomegranate yourself, be sure to check it out! My paintings are available in my online store on my website If you have any questions or requests, I’d love to read about it in the comments. The paint I use is a special oil paint (Cobra, from Royal Talent) which you can thin by using water instead of spirits. Other than that, it’s the same as regular oil paint. On the palette: - titanium white - lemon yellow - yellow ochre - pyrrole red - alizarin crimson - phtalo green - ultramarine blue - ivory black
