FREE DOWNLOAD - At around 2 o’clock in the morning on Sunday the 20th of March, we began our journey to the prehistoric monument Stonehenge. Druids, Pagans and Wiccans come together in this 5000 year old megalithic structure to celebrate the arrival of Spring. On the Spring (or Vernal) Equinox, the sun rises exactly in the east then passes through sky and sets exactly in the west. All over the world, day and night are of equal length hence the word equinox which means ‘equal night’. With very chilly hands we recorded the early morning chants, prayers & drum circles within the stones as best we could with many people sharing in this spiritual experience.
