Unfortunately the correspondence below only gives your surname which means that I am unable to check whether the British Embassy had your UK passport and how it proceeded with it. Please note that if UK passport is returned to us as a lost and found item, we will return it to His Majesty’s Passport Office. We will not be able to return it to the holder.
