Harvest Robots (1931)

Location unknown - somewhere in England. ntroductory intertitle reads: “No gulf is widening more rapidly than that between yesterday and today in farming methods - Yesterday ...“ L/S of men working in a field with an old fashioned horse drawn reaper and binder. Some men stand on top of a cart containing a large amount of hay. They use pitchforks to move it onto a conveyor belt system which lifts it onto a large stack. “Today the harvest can be cut, dried and ready for the mill in one day, no longer dependent on ordinary weather conditions.“ Various shots of a combine harvester being used.
