The UK Ministry of Defence commented on the strikes in Yemen According to the ministry, the operation involved four RAF Typhoon FGR4 multi-role aircraft and a Voyager refuelling aircraft. The aircraft used Paveway IV guided bombs to strike two facilities of Yemen’s Houthi rebels. A cruise missile launch site and a military airfield were hit. The aircraft departed from a British Air Force base in Cyprus and travelled to Yemen through Israeli, Jordanian and Saudi Arabian airspace.
