How to make Soft Roll
(for TESDA bread and pastry production NCII)
INGREDIENTS
120 ml Water
1 tspYeast
1 tbsp Sugar
2 cups Bread Flour
4 tbsp. Milk Powder
1 tsp. Salt
1 pc. Egg
1 tsp. Vanilla
3 tbsp Buter
1 tsp. Salt
1 pc. Egg
1 tsp. Vanilla
3 tbsp Buter
PROCEDURE:
1. Mix water, yeast, and sugar, let it set for 5 minutes.
2. In a separate bowl, combine sifted bread flour, salt and powdered milk. Mix it thoroughly and then make a well. Add egg, vanilla, butter and yeast mixture. Knead until smooth and elastic.
3. Cover the dough and proof 20 mins. or until it double the size.
4. Punch down, weight and cut the dough into unifom pieces. Form into a ball and rest for 20 mins.
with egg wash, bake into 375 F, for 15-20 mins. or until golden brown.
