Watercolor on Location: The Villa Melzi - Thoughts on Composition

This video was done to support my class which met on Location in Bellagio Italy over 6 days from September 2 - 7. I this small series I present paintings done in real time on location, or from sketches done on location. In each video I will address some of the challenges with working on site as well a specific challenges in design and watercolor technique. Along the way I hope you experience the same thrill of working under an open sky that we did. In this video I demonstrate some techniques useful in getting started working outside as well as thoughts towards composition.
