One Of Our Deleted Albums Series Stan Getz (1927-1991) released this album in 1964 on Verve Records, catalogue number V6-8600. The album features recordings of a live performance at the Cafe Au Go Go in New York City on 19 August 1964 with vocals by Astrud Gilberto. The album was recorded by Rudy Van Gelder and anything recorded by Rudy Van Gelder sounds good. If you see a credit on an album saying “Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder“ you can rest assured the sound quality is first rate. Unfortunately this album appears to have been deleted but it is available on a Japanese import CD.
