‘It is us that are stupid’: Douglas Murray delivers grim warning on Israeli borders

The security around the state of Israel is not there to oppress the Palestinians but is there to prevent the annihilation of the Jewish people, says author Douglas Murray. Mr Murray joined Sky News Australia to discuss Israel at war with Palestinian terrorist group Hamas and to explain why the people of Gaza would have annihilated the Jews in Israel were it not for the borders. “Maybe we have had a reminder of that in the last week,” he told Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi. “We knew it, they said it for years – it is us that are stupid. “It is we in countries like Australia and Britain and America who have been naive and we should so something about that.”
