Starting with her orange/red painted canvas, Jane shows how she gets started by sketching out her subject matter using a Liquitex Hookers Green Deep acrylic paint. Forms began to take shape and emerge as she layers and adds colors to create light and shadow. She does run into a snafu when painting the face of one of the chefs, and you get to watch along as she tries to correct it.
