Seems to do well with other species of cichlids. Provide plenty of stoney crevices and this species shouldn’t be housed in a tank less then 36 inches in length. This species comes in a number of different colour morphs based on region. The most popular location is “Karilani“ as Leleupi from this area are very deep orange in colour.
