Up The Pole (1933)

“Yes, and it’s just 75 feet high, and the man who perches himself on top declares it’s safer than the traffic congested streets below.“ Man sits on top of a very tall pole. The pole is standing on top of a building with the words “Circus Busch“ painted over an archway. Possibly a circus in Germany? The man sways from side to side. Low angle shot showing the man balancing on a little ledge on the pole. It looks very precarious. “It’s too comfortable like this - let’s try the other way up.“ The man does a headstand on top of the pole. He then kicks his legs around. He swings backwards and forwards on the pole. “If the pole should ever snap - !“ L/S of the pole swinger. Building in the background has the word “Burohaus Borse“ painted on the side.
