Марш Лейб-гвардии Преображенского полка (March of the Preobrazhensky Regiment), Russian march

11th of April 1805: Russia joins the Third Coalition against France. This march likely dates back to the days of Peter the Great in the early 1700s, as does the Preobrazhensky Regiment itself. It was a common patriotic tune in the Russian Empire, and is still used by the Russian army today. It was only rarely used in the Soviet Union. It is the regimental slow march of the Corps of Royal Marines, in the Royal Navy. This set of lyrics was written around 1805 by Sergei Nikiforovich Marin, a Russian colonel and satirical poet. I could not find a vocal recording of these lyrics, or an English translation, so expect my translation to be terrible.
