Powerful cyclone Cheneso hit Madagascar Tropical Storm CHENESO made landfall on 19 January in the north of Antalaha, in Sava Region, on the north-eastern coast of Madagascar, with maximum sustained winds up to 106 km/h. CHENESO is forecast to move south-west across central-western Madagascar, as a Tropical Depression, and reach the Mozambique Channel in the early morning of 23 January.
