Jomtien Beach - a family friendly “Pattaya“ near Pattaya, Thailand 2023

Jomtien beach, just 3 km south of central Pattaya, is the destination for our most recent beach holiday trip. The beaches here are cleaner and nicer than in Pattaya, and Jomtien is an excellent alternative for families with children, couples as well as singles, for a fun and exciting getaway for a few days or longer. We return to one of our favourite hotels from many years back, Jomtien Boathouse, see how it looked like back then; and start with walk and sightseeing a bit northwards to Dongtan beach (see map at the end of the video).
