Bass Drum Swivel Technique

Here’s a quick example of the swivel technique that I use for some of the faster stuff that I do. I have a lot of people ask me about it so I thought I’d post a quick video on a bass drum practice pad (it’s actually a Roland KD-8 rubber drum trigger pad, unplugged). I’m using an older Tama Iron Cobra double pedal with a Trick driveshaft. Spring tension maxed out, beaters about 45 degrees. I normally use two separate kicks with Axis Longboards and highly recommend them, but wanted to show this technic works on any pedal, even if you are used to something else... This isn’t a top speed run or trying to achieve perfection an example of how to do it on whatever you have available. :) Recorded with an iPhone 6s plus
