Elections in the U.S. are a circus, so everyone wants to see it. They [journalists] went through all the procedures, got the visas, permits & headed to the U.S. There they were detained at the airport & interrogated for many hours. The group’s cameraman was denied entry to the border. His entry visa was cancelled, with “administrative reasons“ given as the reason. Moreover, while all this arbitrariness was going on, they did not notify us of the situation - Foreign Affairs Spokeswoman Zakharova.
