Nato Allies Aircraft Carriers and Warships Arrive in the Philippine Sea and Entering South China Sea The Carl Vinson Carrier and warships from NATO allies are being deployed on a scheduled basis in the US 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability through alliances and partnerships while serving as a responsive force supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific region. Meyer (DDG 108) and the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Champlain (CG 57) participated in the Philippine Sea.
