Lights! Camera! Action! - BBC ’The Way’ filming in Neath Port Talbot

As you might know, our county borough has featured in a variety of TV shows and films thanks to the stunning scenery and sweeping landscapes. From Dr Who & Willow to Twin Town and The Passion, we have helped provide the backdrop to some of your favourite shows on both the big and small screen Now, we can share details of a new BBC drama which has been filming throughout Neath Port Talbot over the Summer. Directed by Michael Sheen, It tells the story of an ordinary family caught up in an extraordinary chain of events that ripple out from their home town. The majority of filming has taken place across the area in recent weeks, so naturally we caught up with Michael and the creative team behind this three-part series to find out why they chose NPT as the backdrop for their first major production.
