Russia’s Sniper Drills & Missile Systems Near Ukraine; UK Sends Weapons & Troops To Defend Kyiv

Russia held sniper drills close to the Ukrainian border amid escalating tensions between Moscow and the West. Russian troops were seen carrying out shooting exercises in the Rostov region bordering Ukraine on January 17. Russia also sent two deadly mobile short-range ballistic missile systems 9K720 Iskander towards the conflict zone. Russia is also moving troops to Ukraine’s northern neighbour Belarus for joint military exercises.
