Inside Japan’s Biggest Abandoned City | WHAT WE FOUND WILL BREAK YOU

Ikeshima or Ikejima (Japanese: 池島), also sometimes listed as Ike Island, is an island in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. It formerly employed thousands of coal miners who lived on the island. The coal mines opened in 1959 and closed in 2001. The island is named after a pond what was once on the island which I only found out after we had filmed. #adventure #exploringwithfighters #abandoned #japan
