Resin Casting Tutorial - Hollow Impact Resistant Casting Using Smooth-Cast® 57D

This is a method of casting a hollow impact resistant piece. We used Smooth-Cast® 57D to “slush“ the 1st coat followed by additional layers of Smooth-Cast 57D to get the final thickness of 4-5mm (~1/4“). So-Strong® Black tint was added to give a base color to the resin. We cast this piece into a Dragon Skin® 10 1-piece mold.
