Its leader, guitarist, singer, and songwriter Dmitry Anashkin (born on October 5, 1964 in Leningrad), made his debut on stage in the early 1980s. In May 1983, he became a member of ROCK-STAT for four months, and for the next two years, he played with ELECTROSTANDARD. In the winter of 1984-1985, he also reheated with WHITE NOISE GENERATOR, and in January 1986, he played a single concert with KINO. In August 1986, he left ELECTROSTANDARD for the LAST NEWS, from which he left a year later to form his first band, NEW REALISM. The experience was not particularly successful: after performing a couple of times in St. Petersburg, the band got a job at the Lipetsk Philharmonic and spent the summer of 1988 accompanying the famous singer Albert Asadullin. After returning home, Anashkin started a new band, which he named ORKESTR A, and his main partner was Vyacheslav Kharinov (born on March 27, 1961 in Leningrad), a saxophonist who had graduated from a music school and had been playing academic music until the mid-1980s.
