King and Queen ’very grateful’ for support after ’challenges’ of last 12 months

The King and Queen’s first public duty will be a visit to a cancer treatment centre on Tuesday. They will meet specialists and patients at the unit. Buckingham Palace announced on Friday the King would be returning to public-facing duties following his cancer diagnosis in February and subsequent treatment.
