FOREIGN MEDIA’S TAKE ON HEADLINES HERE

한 주간 외신 속 한반도관련 뉴스 Hello. It’s Wednesday here in Korea and you’re watching Issues and Insiders. Today I have our panel of foreign correspondents to address unrest on the Korean peninsula and more. For this I have Andres Sanchez Braun here in the studio. Andres it’s good to have you here. I also have Sebastien Falletti with us. Sebastien welcome back. 1) So Andres, is North Korea done with diplomacy and clamping for conflict? What are the pundits that you’ve spoken to saying? 2) Sebastien, North Korea has also reportedly demolished a monument of reunification in recent days. Do tell us more. And again, how are North Korea experts responding? 3) Andres, Russia has accused South Korea, Japan and the U.S. of preparing for war with North Korea. What is Russia basing its accusation on? 4) Sebastien, North Korea claims to have been testing new strategic cruise missiles in recent days. How worried should we be? 5) Meanwhile, Andres, in what some pundits claim is a rare admission of inadequacy, North Korea’s Kim Jong-un has reportedly pointed out that failure to provide people with basic necessities such as food is a “serious political issue.“ How do you interpret his remarks? 6) Sebastien, beyond cross-border security concerns, there has also been quite a bit of coverage about the public political divide and the resulting acts of violence against politicians. What are your thoughts on this matter? 7) And Andres, how do you respond to these acts of violence against politicians? 8) Sebastien, staying with radical acts of aggressive behavior, a pair of protesters this past weekend threw soup at the Mona Lisa to draw attention to the plight of farmers in France. Do these acts help or hurt their broader cause? All right. #NorthKorea #Missile #Provocation #Weapon #북한 #미사일 #도발 #무기 #Arirang_News #아리랑뉴스 📣 Facebook : 📣 Twitter : 📣 Homepage : 2024-01-31, 14:30 (KST)
