Gizmo is a 17-year-old Congo African Grey parrot who found a loving home with us (Emily and Kyle) in April 2022. For the first 16 years of Gizmo’s life, he was confined to a cage, which made him cautious and hesitant. However, with time, love, and patience, Giz formed a deep connection to his human family. We feel incredibly fortunate that fate guided Gizmo into our lives, allowing us the opportunity to offer him the love and care he so richly deserves. We created this channel with a dual purpose: to educate and to encourage people to choose adoption over purchasing young birds. There are countless birds out there in need of permanent, loving homes.
