Ducks On Decks

This is a passion project of Maxim Altan-Lu Shapovalov, a University of Oregon graduate student, who, during his 2-year Master’s program, sought to capture the skateboarding scene in Eugene, Oregon, and other corners of the Pacific Northwest. This full-length skate film primarily captures skateboarding students at UO, but also includes local roller skaters, scooter riders, rad-dad BMXers, and even some epic out-of-state visitors. As the ducklings spread their wings and continue their journeys elsewhere, they can always look back on this film as a way to remember their cozy and wonderful nest that is Eugene.
