The House of Neptune and Amphitrite | Herculaneum

Buried by volcanic debris from mount Vesuvius, is a house of two stories, with some famous mosaics of the Roman world, and skillfully crafted sculpture and painting. The house was connected to possibly the most well preserved shop of the ancient world. The remains of food was found still in its containers, and it even has wooden elements still preserved in their original position.
