Israel’s continued illegal occupation of Palestine resulted in a cycle of violence: Madonsela

South African Ambassador in the Netherlands Advocate Vusimuzi Madonsela says the delayed ending of the illegal occupation of Palestine by Israel has resulted in a cycle of violence. Madonsela has told the International Court of Justice that the occupation has lasted for over 50 years in defiance of international law. South Africa and other countries are taking part in these hearings as the UN General Assembly seeks an advisory opinion from the World Court on the occupation of Palestinian territories by Israel.
