Car Jumping Champs - August 2019

Perfect jumping weather greeted drivers at the Angmering Raceway in West Sussex. 11 drivers competed in this annual Car Jumping contest. Paramedics in attendance are also well aware that this particular discipline can be very dangerous. Skeletal and soft tissue damage is a constant threat. And as for whiplash....... The brave banger car drivers accelerated their cars over a ramp in an attempt to fly over a line of assembled old bangers and land safely on the opposite side. Needless to say, those that fell from the sky and crashed into the line of wrecks in spectacular fashion got some of the biggest applause.
