Tortilla Curtain by TC Boyle. Not only because it carries the favourite food of my ancestors from Central America in the title but also describes the issues immigrants are facing coming into an industrialized, over-organised and materially wealthy society. Also a reflection of my own personal story. 2) If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have? Magic hugs which turn haters into lovers, war lords into cuddle machines and jealous folks into caring & supporting persons. 3) What’s the longest you’ve gone without sleep (and why)? Some 60 hours on one of the first super enthusiastic weekends dancing in Berlin - right from work on Friday to the bars and then 1 full 24h at Sisyphos. Was just so happy to be alive at that time in that place. Just couldn’t stop dancing with a big smile on my face. #downtempo #berlindowntempo #hugrecords
