The Return of VIA Rail’s the Canadian - May 21, 2021

VIA Rail Train #2, the Canadian, is back running the full route between Vancouver and Toronto. Today the train completed the first trip in more than a year. I caught it at MP 84 on the Bala Subdivision. It was hours late due to a CP train having issues north of Parry Sound that caused a big traffic jam of trains coming south.
