steam link — Hello! This is our fourth “Dota 2: Tower Destroyers” CGI animated short film! We hope you enjoy it! The story: Axe has been trying real hard to win, but unfortunately, he’s just as reckless as his friend Tidehunter. They’ve been butting heads the entire game, and it’s all their poor courier can do to just keep up! The Meepo reporting crew from DotaTV love a good prank. When they bring a mysterious gift to their interview with Axe and Tidehunter, the results are disastrous... Artist’s statement: We love Dota 2, so we wanted to make a series of coming-of-age stories about the heroes when they were younger. We thought it’d be more relatable – and more funny! (Special shout-out to the project director, Bo Fu, for all his hard work!) “Dota 2: Tower Destroyers” Characters: Radiant Academy is full of young, aspiring heroes. But one team among them stands out in particular... Axe: Likes winning, likes being strong, and likes to think of himself as the team captain. Tidehunter: Strong, but not so smart. Axe’s roommate. Windranger: Energetic and outgoing; she’s always got the scoop on the latest gossip. Templar Assassin: Straight-A student with a striking appearance. She’s cool, collected, and helps provide guidance for her team. Wisp: A cute little girl with a warm personality. But she always tends to get bossed around by Axe. Professor Rubick: Staff counselor for Team Axe. Very mature and highly skilled, but constantly at hits wits’ end due to Axe and Tidehunter’s recklessness.
