As usual we want you to meet the artist behind the music, in this case Laura aka @lola-villa-musica so we asked her some questions: 1) What is your favorite book to read?, I love Audre Lorde’s essays. I always come back to essays by her, and other inspiring writers whenever I feel lost or disheartened about the world. Favorite: Audre Lorde: Uses of the Erotic: The Erotic as Power 2) If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have? I would like to have the power of bewilderment at life and at the universe, to have the mindset of a child more often. I feel like children are such incredible humans, we should learn from their superpowers more often. 3) What’s the longest you’ve gone without sleep (and why)? I think I was at Fusion 2016. I took so much LSD that I stayed awake for about 36 hours. I was so trippy, I was scared of my own sleep so I stayed up for as long as the trip lasted.
