Basic structure for floor and wall movement

Playing with material from the Morning classes at “Kyoto Hot Summer International Dance Festival“. The emphasis in this Basic Structure is to look for Musicality and Momentum, The challenge is to make sure they lead the body until a decision to rest. All variations of the basic movement can serve like a “Jazz Orchestra“ of the body - while some parts keep the direction and rhythm other parts can flow in and out of it. In this video only basic variations are presented but any of them can become more challenging with slight change of angles, heights and points of contact with the floor. Leading imagination is Stones and Rivers. The work on the wall emphasizes support of spinal spirals with placement and coordination of the Hands and the Feet.
