How to improve the high and low defense

Good defense is the cornerstone and building block to any great team. Holding the line starts when the first attacking ball from the opposition is had been headed away. It’s similar to holding lines on a battlefield. If all the defenders don’t step up following the ball, or go at different speeds, the defensive line does not prove effective. Holding the line strongly and watching that the defenders move as a unit denies the space for the attacking team. A high defense refers to the team’s line pushing forward into the other half and holding the line there. High defending has the advantage that you get the ball as close to the opponent’s goal, Keep your own goalpost safe by holding the line far from it and the best part is pushing the opposition into pressure. A low defense on the other hand sees that our team falls back to line before applying defensive pressure. This allows the other team to possess the ball in a large area, but scoring would be very difficult as every player from our team is behind
